At Hayden Ranch, we are a small hobby breeder dedicated to breeding healthy and happy Mini Nubians. Our goats are raised with love and care, ensuring they grow into delightful companions. We prioritize ethical breeding practices, focusing on temperament, health and making sure every goat is a joy to welcome into your family! We started raising Mini-Nubians due to the fact that they are more economical to keep compared to full sized goats and easy to handle. And who doesn't love miniature goats? With the Mini-Nubians you get the best of both worlds. Meaning, Nigerian Dwarfs produce more butterfat while Nubians produce more milk. So, you get a mid-sized goat with the potential to produce allot of milk with a higher percentage of butterfat. Our goal is to keep improving this relatively new breed by producing kids with Nubian characteristics, tight udder attachments, level toplines, long Nubian ears and most importantly milk production. Our goats live on a dry lot but are turned out during the day with complete free range of our property most of the year. They have unlimited supply of mineral and salt, along with regular deworming and copper boluse supplements. Please keep in mind we do this as a hobby and don't breed the same goats every year. They get well deserved rest and kid every other year! We have a CAE, CL and Johne's negative herd tested annually! Our herd is G6S Normal from testing. We never allow outside goats into our herd without being tested first!  We personally use our goats for breeding, virtual showing, soap making, homemade goat butter, milk, weed control and for the love of goats!
